In the process the information concerning early star formations and galaxies reveals data concerning redshift velocity and extrapolations concerning dark matter presence that contradict well established theories of the origin of our universe. The telescope has infrared cameras very sensitive so that light from stars less than 100,000,000 years after the beginning of the universe now judged to be 13.7 billion years old (but of course now this may be incorrect).
